Matt
Sunday: 10pm-midnight
My name is Matt Wallace. I am currently residing in Norfolk, VA, but grew up just outside of Baltimore. I lived a mile away from Merriweather Post Pavilion, so I was in the greatest spot on the east coast for concerts all my youth. Almost anyone at any point would tour D.C., Baltimore, Philadelphia, or New York City, and I would take full advantage of this. I’ve seen dozens of concerts and met a lot of my idols. I have loved music all of my life and aspire to be a musician myself someday. I didn’t start taking music, as an interest and hobby, seriously until 2008 when Vampire Weekend and MGMT started to rise. From there I found Animal Collective, Arcade Fire, Spoon, and more of the indie rock music that is so influential to me today. Through doing this show I hope to expose new people to the music that has been important to me throughout my life, and to remind fans with similar taste as myself that we are what’s happening now.
