P.I.T. Now in its 70th year, the P.I.T. has its own legends to celebrate. Past players whose breakout P.I.T. performances helped launch their pro careers include Dennis Rodman, Scottie Pippen, Ben Wallace, John Stockton, and many others. This year’s tournament takes place Wednesday through Saturday, April 17-20. All games are played at Churchland High School in Portsmouth. Tickets are available in advance – $35 for all games – or at the door – $10 for adults and $5 for guests 18 and under. For more information, visit PortsmouthInvitational.com.

The 9th annual 2024 Crush Cancer event
Event Details
The 9th annual 2024 Crush Cancer event will be held outdoors on Sunday, May 5, at the Cavalier Golf and Yacht Club in Virginia Beach, VA. More than 400 riders are expected to participate, with a goal to collectively raise over $250,000!
The event is entirely managed by a local group of volunteers and has become the largest, independently run event of its kind in the nation.
Rare cancers affect approximately 50% of all people diagnosed with cancer. Many Of these diseases are familiar – such as leukemia, lymphoma, all pediatric cancers, brain, ovarian, and pancreatic cancers, and many others.
