Our Mission

Sinclair Communications wants to give back to our community this school season, so WNIS, 96X, BOB FM, Sports Radio 850/96.5 and US1061 are joining forces with The Salvation Army on “The Write Stuff” now until August 31st. We will collect school supplies and ask for monetary donations from our community and business partners.

Help Hampton Roads students by donating to The Write Stuff Back to School campaign. Adopt a student by making a monetary donation to provide a new bookbag filled with students' core school supplies. Bookbags can be sponsored for $15 each.

You can make a difference to ensure local students go back to school prepared to succeed. All bookbags and supplies are new, so students receive the best. Your $15 donation will provide supplies for one student.

All donations will support children within the local Hampton Roads community. Supplies will be distributed to students in need in late August 2022. Monetary donations can be made in the section below.
